Chrissy's message on hearing her need has been funded: Jun 14, 2012
Dear Benevolent Donors,
I'm sooooooo ecstatic that my need has been met and I give God all the glory and praise. My life will be forever changed because now I don't have to worry about how I was going to get my daughter in school. I truly thank every donor that made it possible for it was truly a burden lifted and I thank the benevolent fund for diligently working hard to make it happen. Most of all I want to that Dr. Bridget C. Outlaw for her unwavering and unconditional love and believing in me that it would happen. Thank you all again so much.
My need and situation

I need money to put my daughter in school. This includes her uniforms for school, her shots, and any fees that have to be paid.
Meeting this need will help me because then I can feel more confident and secure with the school that my daughter is in and it will make me feel good knowing that she will have everything that she needs to start school.
If I am able to meet this need now, it will help alleviate some of the pressure of wondering if my daughter is safe where she is especially since I don't have any help to ensure this.
My goal is to put my daughter in a school that I can feel safe and secure in knowing that she is safe and unharmed. This will help me move towards my future goals in that eventually I will be able to send her to a better school.
My current situation is that I'm a single parent with one daughter and battling trying to put her in a safe environment in the school with no help.
Right now, my biggest challenge is putting my daughter in a decent school because I don't have enough money to put her in a better school. The toughest thing I face is knowing that she is safe in school.
I think of myself mostly as a single mother who is trying to raise her daughter to be all that she can be no matter what comes her way in life. I'm most proud of the way my daughter is flourishing in her conversation and how fast she learns new concepts which exceed the average child her age.
I live with my parents, siblings, and my daughter. I went to school at Chicago State University. I've worked at jobs including RTA and Walmart. Something interesting about me is I am a hardworking, single mother who only wants the best for her child.

I have known Chrissy for 2 years. She is a single mother that has a beautiful 3 year old daughter. I met her at a prayer service that she brought her daughter to. I think meeting this need is important because it will help Chrissy with empowering her daughter. This will move the recipient's life forward by helping to empower her daughter.
