My need and situation
I am a 43-year-old survivor of domestic violence. I am now proud to be back on my feet after a long stretch of ongoing abuse. I am legally disabled; suffering from spinal disk issues, chronic back pain and had major reconstructive surgery on my leg.
I have a huge love for animals and a year ago was blessed with a wonderful service dog. I would love to start volunteering my time at a local animal shelter.
I am proud to say that I recently moved into a brand new studio apartment. I need a new sleeper sofa. At this time, using what I currently sleep on, I wake up in horrible pain and on many days in tears.
Having a new sleeper sofa will help me in so many ways. My back pain will be reduced immensely, allowing me to do my daily tasks and volunteer my time at the animal shelters.

She is dedicated and has a deep love for her service dog, and she would be a great asset in giving her time to the animals at any shelter that she chooses to volunteer at.
