We mourn the loss of Benevolent team member Kyle Kehus. Gifts to help someone in need will honor his legacy.

Mike from Chicago, IL

Learning to be a CNC Machinist. I need boots, safety glasses, and work clothes.

When I get the gear I need, I'll be able to start working as soon as possible to start providing for my family. I'm eager to go back to work!

Updates

Gratitude and photo update from Mike! Jun 16, 2015

Mike's validator, Mark, says: "Mike is now working as a machine operator. He is working 60+ hours a week. He said the best thing about his job is that he is always busy and is never bored! Mike said he really appreciates the work clothes! He gets very dirty at work and he often has to change clothes during his shift. Mike said he really appreciates the assistance that he was able to get from Benevolent!"

My need and situation

I am currently enrolled in the CNC Fast Track Training at Jane Addams Resource Corporation. I enrolled in training to be able to get a job and work as a CNC Machinist. I am a quick learner and I work well with others. I am eager to go back to work and I need work supplies to get started in a new job.

My goals are to work as a CNC Machinist and do the best work I can do. Eventually, I would like to work my way up to becoming a CNC Programmer.

I need steel toe boots, safety glasses, and work clothes.

Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to have the gear I need to start working as soon as possible to start providing for my family.

I have know Mike for about 3 months. He quickly moved up to the position of shift leader in the CNC Fast Track Training Program. Mike has been an excellent CNC Trainee and a great mentor to the other Trainees. I am sure that Mike will be an excellent CNC operator as well. Please help him get the equipment he needs to start working.
