My need
I need car repair to go to work. This includes the intake, water pump, gasket, sensors, and windshield wiper motor.
Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to get home every night and get back to work every day. This will also put me back on my feet.
My situation
My current situation is I got a car and had it for only 5 days and it just went out and since then I have had to ask for change to get to the train so that I can go to work and not being able to get back home every day from the job had to sleep in the bathroom and in the break room on the hard benches at the job so that I can keep my job. Right now, my biggest challenge is having to watch my back while sleeping at the job. Making sure that no one bother me. I need my car in order for me to take care of everything in my house hold and to keep myself clean.

I have known the Recipient for about 8 years. I was teaching a Leadership Class and she was invited to sit in my class. I think meeting this need is important because she was a survivor of abuse and getting her car fixed so she won't lose her job or have to sleep in the airport will be empowering. This will move the recipient's life forward by helping her to get away from victim role and empower her to be victorious. She is a hard worker and she needs her car fixed to empower her life.
