Wayne from Nampa, Idaho

I'm a dad trying to get back home. One bus ticket will reunite me with my family.

I need a one-way bus ticket home to Gastonia, North Carolina, where I will have more job opportunities and can be with my kids.

My need and situation

I am a 41-year-old dad trying to get back home. I had moved to Idaho for work. Three months after relocating I got laid off. I've been staying at the shelter in Nampa while looking to find employment but have been unable to do so.

My goals are to move back to North Carolina to find a job and to be with my kids.

I need a one way bus ticket home to Gastonia, North Carolina where I will have more job opportunities and can be with my kids.

Meeting this need will help me because i will be with my kids.and ill be able to find a job in a place I am familiar with.

I know Wayne through our Community Resource Center. He has been coming in for several months using the computer to search for resources after a unexpected job lay off. He is now hopeful to move back home to North Carolina secure a new job and be with his kids. He is confident he can find employment where he has a network of contacts and stronger support. I think that meeting this need is important for Wayne because he will have a better support system, employment opportunities, and is clearly a dad that misses and needs to be with his kids. I cant wait to see him get on a bus and on his way back home, taking care of his kids and a brighter future for all of them.
