Emily
My job title is Senior Program Coordinator. I have been in this position since September 2009. My work involves coordinating our welding training program and overseeing our tutoring and Bridge program. At JARC we try to help people get the education, training, and supportive services they need to get back to work and become economically self-sufficient.
What I like about my job is connecting people with the opportunities they need to succeed. I see a lot of hard working and dedicated people who come to JARC. With our support and training, they can go on to really succeed in work and in life.
Other positions I have held at my organization include coordinating our adult literacy program and coordinating our adult Bridge program. All of our programs seek to help people meet their personal and professional goals.
In the future I would like to continue to help people get the training they need to turn their lives around. With education and training, the possibilities are endless. When someone is able to get back to work, it benefits not only themselves but also their families and communities.
