Overview

I am a 57 year old retired dock worker. I recently got a new apartment and I am very excited to be living in my own place with more space and more room for personal growth.

My goals are to get established in my new home and start saving for the future. Eventually I would like to save enough to buy my own home.

I need new furniture to furnish my new home. I previously lived in an SRO where I could not have much furniture and am in need of a couch and a dining room table to furnish the bigger space in my new apartment. Having these items will make my new house feel more like home.

Meeting this need will help me because I am striving to become more independent and being able to furnish my new place will help me continue on my journey toward independence. Once I have the new furniture for my house I will be able to focus on saving for my future and accomplishing my goal of home-ownership.

Spotty has been a registered Guest with our agency since January 2012 and has been regularly coming in for services since then. Spotty recently reached out to us and informed us that he has obtained new housing and needs furniture to be able to furnish his new home. We would love to see Spotty be able to furnish his new home so that he can have a more comfortable place to live.
