Overview
I am a 20-year old former college student. I have been trying to get a job and find housing, and am currently working with Elam Davis Social Service Center.
My goals are to find employment, obtain benefits, and get permanent housing. First, I need to have the proper documentations, including a birth certificate.
My identity was stolen. I need help funding my application for a birth certificate application.
Meeting this need will help me because once I get a birth certificate, I can obtain a new social security number, new identification card, and get my SNAP benefits. Having these materials will help me find employment and housing.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Derrick fund this need.

I have known Derrick through the Social Services agency at the Fourth Presbyterian Church. The agency offers case management, food, and clothing services to people in-need. I am Derrick's case manager, and am working with him to obtain employment, welfare benefits, and find permanent housing. However, his identity was stolen, and he is unable to verify his identification. He really needs assistance getting a birth certificate so that he can continue to move forward to re-establish a stable lifestyle. It would be great to see Derrick receive this help.
