Overview
I am a 51-year-old, and have been homeless for over one year. I am trying to get housing, and am currently working with a case manager at a social service agency.
My goals are to find employment, and get permanent housing. I am currently offered housing through the Central Referral System, but I have to first provide appropriate documentation.
I need help getting a birth certificate. This is so that I can complete the necessary documentation to obtain housing, which will help provide some stability in my life, so that I can continue to look for employment.
Meeting this need will help me because after I get my birth certificate, I can get into housing, and have more stability to continue to look for employment.

I have been working with Lenora at the Elam Davis Social Service Center. As a case manager, I help clients regain self-sufficiency. I am helping Lenora to get housing, and to find employment. Right now, I hope to help Lenora get a birth certificate, so that she can obtain housing, and thus have more stability to pursue her other goals. Lenora has always been very open and clear about what she is looking for, and it would be great to see her receive this help.
