Overview

My name is Michael and I am 48 and currently unemployed. I have been working with Inspiration Corporation's Employment program.

My goal is to find employment working with animals. I was offered a job driving the horse carriages downtown.

I need a driver's license in order to take this job. I have virtually no driving experience and very little access to practice. I already have my driving permit but I want to take a short driving class for behind the wheel experience before taking the driving exam.

Meeting this need will help me because this is my dream job and I only have one chance at it! I have a disability case pending but would rather work. This may be my only chance.

I have known Michael through the employment project here at Inspiration Corporation. Michael has shown great dedication to pursuing and achieving his employment goals through graduating from Inspiration's intensive 4-week employment preparation training course. Michael was recently offered a job as a driver on the horse carriages in downtown Chicago but needs a license to accept this position. It would be wonderful to see Michael obtain the funding help needed to go to driving school and be able to pursue this opportunity.
