I am a retired social worker who is currently on disability. I like to volunteer in programs that help people in my community.
My goals are to obtain safe and affordable housing. I am looking to move into a neighborhood that allows me to be an active member of the community.
I am in need of financial assistance to help me pay for my security deposit as well as my moving expenses. I am able to cover my rent, but fall short in these two areas.
Meeting this need will help me, because I am no longer able to afford my current rent. I need to move into safe and affordable housing as soon as possible.

I have known Janie for a few months. I have been working with her to find affordable housing. She is on several waiting lists and continues to apply for any housing that is available. She is working really hard to overcome this obstacle and has been nothing but patient and honest with me along the way.
