Overview
I am a 44-year-old currently enrolled in a CNC program in the Chicago area. I first enrolled in Jane Addams Resource Corporation's training program to build a better life for my family, and now I am excited by the possibility of a successful new career.
I am striving to challenge myself and to learn new things. My goals are to enter into a career as a CNC operator in the machining industry. This will allow me to make adequate income to meet my needs and save for my future!
I am ready to work, but I need a few tools and resources that are required by anyone entering into the CNC industry. These include steel-toed boots, a metrology kit, and bus fare. An investment in these items will be an investment in my future success.
Starting a new job is very demanding, especially when you are already on a tight budget. If I no longer have to worry about affording the basic supplies, I can focus my attention and energy on the skills I learned in my training.
