Overview
I am a 38-year-old mother of one 8-year-old boy with another on the way.
My husband and I have been homeless since September of 2015 due to a massive layoff. Both of us have been able to find gainful employment and a new apartment to move into, but we still need some basic amenities to get by.
My goals are to move into a new home by February 1st, although we haven't been working long enough to be able to save to afford everything we need.
I need $250.00 to be able to purchase a used fridge for our new place. This will help my husband and I buy and cook nutritious and affordable food for our family, rather than eating out.
My husband and I lost everything when we had to leave our last place and we are starting out from scratch. Meeting this need would be a great help to us to allow us to save money while building a new life for our son and the baby we have on the way.
