Overview

I am a 54-year-old female who has attended school majoring in Business, Medicine and Criminal Justice. After settling on a major in Medical Assisting, I graduated from Sanford Brown Institute in 2008 with a GPA of 3.8. I have since returned to school to brush up on my clinical skills.

My goals are to work in a hospital under the medical assistance department. Once I have obtained employment in this field, I will be able to save money to relocate out of New York State.

I need help with paying for the Certification from the American Association of Medical Assisting examination.

Meeting this need will help me because once I am hired in the Medical Assistance department I will be able to fulfill my obligation to the court by being in compliance with my monthly restitution payments and other bills.

I have been supervising Carla for over 12 months. Since meeting her, she has remained law abiding and very forthcoming about her desire to obtain employment and successfully completing her sentence of probation. Obtaining employment in her chosen field will give her the tools to not only take care of her financial obligations but will give her the ability to eventually relocate.
