Overview

I am a new newly housed woman that is finally getting a fresh lease on life again. I finally got my own apartment after being homeless for a year, and what a day of celebration it is.

My goals are to go back to college for marketing, improve my health and continue maintain my physical, mental and financial stability.

I'm starting slowly to rebuild my new home. I need a bed and basic household items, specifically a kitchen table and couch.

Meeting this need will help me flourish. I really believe that a house is not a home without a comfortable bed and a place where friends and family can visit. I would love and appreciate your support.

Genevieve and I met over a year ago through the Lincoln Park Community Shelter. Genevieve has always impressed me with her drive to improve her life through finding fulfilling, stable employment, in addition to focusing on her health and overall well being. She's a cheerful person who is able to find the humor in everyday life, and spreads joy to others. I'm so happy to see Genevieve in her new apartment.
