Valerie from Chicago, IL

Working grandmother. Bus passes will help me make my part-time job a full-time one.

Without transportation, I have trouble getting to & from work. A few months of bus passes will help me build a stable foundation & savings.

Overview

I am a 54-year-old grandmother who recently got back into the workforce. Because money is tight, I am struggling to get to and from work.

My goals are to maintain my job so that my current temporary position becomes a permanent position.

I need help with transportation for the next few months so I can make sure I can always get to work on time and avoid stressing or worrying about losing my job.

Meeting this need will help me because the money I will save not having to worry about transportation will allow me to get my finances in order and pay the bills I couldn't pay when I was out of work.
