William from Chicago, IL

Overcoming homelessness! One security deposit will get me housed.

I have enough income to pay rent each month, but haven't been able to cover my security deposit. With your help, I can move into my new home!

Overview

My name is William. I am a 58- year old who is currently working with Southwest PADS to get stable housing. I currently live in an SRO with shared kitchen and bathroom. I have a fixed disability income and need support getting my security deposit paid for my new apartment.

My goals are to secure stable housing and eventually get training so I can look for part-time work.

I need help paying my security deposit for my new apartment. Moving forward, I will be able to afford my rental payment.

Meeting this need will help me secure my new apartment and move closer to overall stability. Having my own place would give me the independence I need to thrive.
