Mom of 2 overcoming homelessness. My family needs beds to get a good night's sleep.

It's important to me that my son, who has mental illness, has a comfortable and safe space to come home to every night.

Overview

I am a mother of 2 boys one of my son has severe mental illness. He's under the doctor care. We just move into our home after being homeless for a year. While we were homeless, the basement where I was storing our bedding and clothes was flooded.

My goals are go back to school and become a nurse, so I get out of poverty and take care of my family.

I need beds for myself and my sons so my kids can have a good night's rest and have some decent clothes.

Meeting this need will help me because it will help my children be comfortable in their new home. I'll also be able to cook and prepare nutritious meals for my family.
