Candy from Detroit, Mi

My son & I are overcoming homelessness! Need a refrigerator & stove to cook at home.

Meeting this need will enable me to cook for my son at home, so we can both eat healthier and more economically.

Overview

I am a mother of one son. We just moved into our home after being homeless for a year living in a shelter. I was in a domestic violence relationship. I am unemployed looking for work.

My goals are getting full time employment and going back to school. Obtaining my CNA certificate and later purse a nursing degree.

I need a refrigerator and a stove to be able to cook at home.

Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to cook my son a hot meal without eating process food. This need will help me with uniforms for my son and I to go back to school.
