Overview

I am currently a resident of Lincoln Park Community Shelter, where I am working on becoming self-sufficient once again by obtaining permanent employment and housing. I have been a resident here for about 9 months.

My goals are to obtain permanent housing and employment as a mail-room clerk. In my own home, I would better be able to pursue my artistic hobbies of painting and drawing.

I need to pay off my court fees by January, 2017. My probationary period is reliant on this payment and if I am able to pay it all by January, my probation will end sooner and I can continue working on my goals. I am also seeking a one-month Chicago Transit Authority pass so that I can have reliable transportation.

Paying these court fees on time means that I will be in compliance with my probation requirements. Additionally, once this is paid, I can begin putting aside money to save for an apartment. The CTA pass allows me to get to and from job interviews, court dates, and all other daily necessities.
