Overview
I am a 39-year-old college student attending classes online. I have the privilege of being the mother of a 12-year-old honor roll holding son. My son and I have been in the shelter system until Barrier Free Living Apartments Supportive Housing Program assisted us. We now have a one-bedroom apt with three wonderful rescue cats: Khaleesei, Sansa and Zeus.
My goals are to become completely independent. I have a strong desire to work as an Office Manager for a respectable Medical Institution. I am currently enrolled at the Ultimate Medical Academy. I am struggling to maintain my stellar grades due to technological issues.
I need assistance with securing (1) laptop, (1) color printer, (1) ink cartridge (Black/Color), (1) box of paper. Currently, I am unemployed and on a limited income. I can not afford a laptop for my or my son's assignments. In the past I have utilized the library; which has time constraints. It has been increasingly difficult for my family. I have requested assistance from my family and friends to no avail.
Meeting this need will help me because after completing my online degree in just 7 short months, I will be marketable. Being able to provide for my son without the assistance of the government means the WORLD TO ME! Establishing a career as an Office Manager is no long a dream but a POSSIBILITY!

I've been working with Fania for over one year. Her love for others has been truly heartwarming. She makes every effort to participate in events with the Community. Fania is known for her love of pets as she rescued all three of her cats, and inherited a beautiful bird as wee. Although Fania has faced and overcame much trauma in her childhood, she continues to blossom into the woman she know she can be and what her son needs.
