Overview
I am a 55-year old man, who is a military veteran. I am overcoming mental illness, and previously stayed at a shelter. I recently obtained housing from Thresholds and am in the process of rebuilding my life.
My goals are to find stable employment. I have worked in construction and as a painter for over 30 years. I have been doing it since I was a kid, helping my dad. I am licensed and certified as a welder and truck driver.
I need some items to help furnish my new apartment. I am excited for this chapter of my life, and would like to get back on my feet. I am asking for a kitchen table and dresser.
Meeting this need will help me because I would like to function as best I can. I am grateful for this apartment, and getting this in order will be a step on getting me back on track.
