Mom training for a new career. I need some essential items for my baby.

I'm working hard to prepare for a career in counseling. On my path, I need some basic essentials to give my baby a warm and welcoming environment.

Overview

I am a 26 year old, single mother, currently getting back into the workforce after an on-site injury kept me from working for several years. I am mom to a 7-year-old and have a baby boy on the way, due at the end of May. I am currently enrolled in a business support services program to strengthen and sharpen my skills so that I can support my family and feel proud of the work I'm doing in the world.

My immediate goal is to work hard in class every day so that I will have the proper skills to get a full-time job after my baby is born. My ultimate dream is to give back to my community by becoming a substance abuse counselor. I know that getting a good job will help me become financially stable so that I can achieve that goal.

I need both professional and personal support as I work to follow my goals: work clothes for my summer internship and upcoming job interviews and some essential baby items (i.e. bottles and nursing supplies) as well as a bassinet so that my baby has a comfortable place to sleep near me.

Meeting this need will help me because It will allow me show up in professional settings looking as professional on the outside as I feel on the inside. Welcoming my baby boy with some essential supplies will allow me to worry less about him and continue with all of the motivation I feel toward beginning this next chapter of my life.
