Overview

I am a 40-year-old single mom of two young children, currently disabled due to serious medical issues and unable to obtain employment.

My goals are to support my children not only emotionally, but financially since our abrupt emergency relocation to New York from Georgia. I want to be able to provide for my children, and my goal is to buy my children both a new dresser for our new apartment. In order to make this transition as comfortable as possible, new furniture would be helpful during this time of need.

I need two dressers for my children's bedroom, so that they can have room to put away their clothes, out from storage bins.

Meeting this need will help me and my children because, getting the essential products for my children is important for me during this emotional transition. In order to be able to safely provide for them, and support me as a single mother and provide for my children.

I have known G.G. for 1 year + throughout her probation supervision period. She is a dedicated mother, and compliant client of mine, who only wants what is best for her 2 young children. I have worked with G.G. obtain HRA services, a new apartment granted from her housing voucher, and appropriate mental health services for her and her children in order to cope with her abrupt move from Georgia after a domestic violence situation. G.G. is motivated, inspiring, and honest about what her family needs in order to progress forward.
