Overview

I am a a senior who just found an apartment and moved in the other week!

My goals are to be able to continue working with with the Jane Adams Senior Caucus to help get reforms with housing, Medicare & Medicaid.

As I'm currently sleeping on my couch I'm in need of a bed. I'd also like a new set of bed sheets, a pillow case & a bedspread that match.

Meeting this need will help me because I currently am sleeping on my couch which is aggravating my bad back problem which I already go to a pain clinic for.

Sylvia has been a guest at our Social Service Center receiving services with us for the past year with clothing, food & toiletries. She requested assistance with getting housed so I've been meeting one on one with her doing case management for the past 6 months. She has just moved into an apartment the other week & now we are working with her to obtain a much needed bed & bedding.
