Overview
I am a 38 year old fistula survivor and wife. I got a painful fistula from a difficult childbirth, then had surgery to repair it. Now I am healed and ready to earn a living.
My goal is to start farming so that I can support myself. After my surgery I completed a farm skills training at an organization called Beyond Fistula, and I want to use what I learned to earn an income.
I need $200 for seeds, tools, and fertilizer. I have land that I started growing a few crops on after the program.
Meeting this need will help me because I am healthy, motivated, and have the skills to run a successful small farm. Once I have the money for supplies, nothing will be standing in my way.
