Overview
I am a 23 year old mother and a fistula survivor. When I gave birth, the baby got stuck and I ended up with a fistula. For three months I had pain and lots of shame, then I had surgery to repair the injury.
My goals are to start a shoe resale business. I want to earn a good income to provide for myself and my baby. I want to be able to afford school fees so my child can have an education.
I need $150 to purchase shoes. I will transport them to my village and resell them to my community.
Meeting this need will help me because I need to earn a living for my child. I am driven to be a good mother and want to send my baby to school when the time comes. All that stands between me and a successful small business is the money to start up.
