While I learn a trade, I'm sleeping on the floor. I need a bed to stay healthy.

Father of five; with my shoulder injury I'm having a hard time training. With help to get a bed and work boots, I'll be able to focus and find work.

Overview

I am a student at Jane Addams Resource Corporation. I'm in the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining class. I am 29 years old. I have been in class for almost a year. It's been hard to provide basic things since I have no income and will rely solely on my training once finished. I live with my little brother and I've been his protector as well as a father for 5 beautiful girls. I sleep on the floor/couch and I need help to get better.

My goals are to finish CNC training and obtain a job, to be financially stable and provide for my family. I plan to fix my credit and living situation.

I need a queen sized bed for me and my youngest daughter (age 1) so we can rest properly in comfort. I also need work boots for when I start my job.

Meeting this need will help me because I have shoulder issues that require surgery. I need to finally have a bed since its been years. I believe with proper sleep I'll be more productive and my child can sleep. I haven't had an actual bed in over 10 years.

Michael has been working hard over the past year to master his skills. He is really close to job placement. He has a bad shoulder that has been bothering him. We learned that he sleeps on the floor which does not help his situation. This need will help to stop putting hard pressure on his shoulder. He will need full mobility of his arm once he starts working.
