Overview

I am a 25 year old single mother of three small children. I have worked in a number of different fields which include fast food service and retail. I have decided that I no longer want to just have a job but embark on a career as a EMT technician.

My goals are to secure a career as a EMT technician to assist those in emergency situations. I have researched the qualifications to attend the classes and training to make my goal a reality.

I need to first secure a seat in the training class. I have saved up some funds but not enough to cover the tuition. I am currently unemployed due to the closing of my previous employment due to the shut of NYC small business where I worked.

Meeting this need will help me to secure a career in this very important field. I have realized the need to be a essential worker in times such as this to maintain employment and be an asset to my community. This need would also show my children the importance of caring for others.

I have been working with KC for close to I year. This young lady has shared her goals and aspirations to make a better life for herself and her children. KC has never allowed things to get in her way which would otherwise stop some people with less responsibilities to continue to strive for upward mobility.
