Overview
I am a 42 year old man who moved to NYC from Puerto Rico a few years ago. I am currently working as a cleaner; I am looking to better myself with more work.
My goal is to gain additional employment that will assist me in obtaining financial security so that I can plan for a better future.
I need a car so that I can travel to and from work. At this time I am unable to secure a second job due to the lack of transportation as it varies during the evening time; I had a second job at a restaurant but working evening hours was difficult as the bus service slows down at night and I was worried about being stranded in that neighborhood.
I have been saving my money for a car; these funds will help me get there. Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to travel to more jobs like the one at the restaurant. It will also open up new areas of work, like driving for DoorDash.
