Overview
I need money for my class and for my exam. Meeting this need will help me because a job will stablize my home again and take the stress away. It will also help move my children into a better environment.
My goal is to help others. I love being a C.N.A because I get to meet the people that pave the way for me. This class and exam would help me to get a job and provide for my family. It would also help for my children to see that I am able to complete school as they should and work hard for the things in life that they'll need. Hopefully, my growth will be there.
My current situation is I am out of a job. I am thirty years old and never in my wildest dreams would I have believed I would end up with three little girls and homeless. My children mean the world to me. I am going through a lot right now, but like my grandmother says, "Just hold on - God's got a plan for you." So I try to keep the faith. It gets hard but I can't allow my girls to see me fall so I stand strong and keep my faith. Right now, my grandmother is in the hospital in I.C.U. and my mother is facing five to ten years in prison. My children have been my strength to fight. I have only my faith and my children to my name but I've seen God work miracles for others, so I know He can do the same for me... God has never given up on me so I'll continue to fight. I ask that you all continue to pray for me and my family. Have a blessed and loving day.

I'm from Concord, North Carolina and I live in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
I have three daughters ages 13, 9 and 3. My 13 year-old is funny and very easy going. She is an A.B. honor student and enjoys taking pictures of everything. My 9 year-old is the total opposite of her sister. She is the wild child but so lovable, and last but not least, my 3 year-old: All I can say is GOD BLESS ME.... she's still going through terrible twos. I'm most proud of my three daughters for being such strong and wise children.
Something interesting about me is I've been a C.N.A for 13 years. I'm happiest when I can make another person smile.

Kelly and I met 10 years ago when I was helping her grandmother with her health insurance. I think meeting this need is important because this will really lift her spirits at this time in her life, and help her to move herself and her family forward.
