Overview
I am a 31-year-old fistula survivor and wife. I developed a fistula during childbirth and I lost the baby. I have been living with symptoms of leaking urine for about 2 years. Even after 4 different surgeries, although I am a little better, I still have symptoms. I recently finished a basket making workshop which I loved.
My goal is to start creating baskets to sell so I can make an income and help support my family.
I need $300 to buy fibers from the Kenyan sisal plant and other supplies so I can start making baskets.
Meeting this need will help me because I want to start making an income to support my family. I currently have no job and no way to make money, so starting to sell baskets will really change my life.

Stella is a strong woman and a fistula survivor. Sadly, she lost her baby in childbirth and has been struggling with symptoms for 2 years. Although she received 4 surgeries which helped her a little she still lives with these awful symptoms. Making and selling baskets is a great way for her to make an income. I am confident that Stella will be able to help support her family.
