Overview
I am a 43-year-old wife, mother of 7, and fistula survivor. I lived with symptoms of leaking urine for 7 years. After I got my surgery, my fistula was repaired. I currently sell fish and take care of my kids but my family is so big that I need to make more money. I took a basking-making workshop that I learned about at Gynocare Women’s and Fistula Hospital and I loved it.
My goals are to start creating baskets to sell so I can make more money to feed my huge family.
I need $300 to buy fibers from the Kenyan sisal plant and other supplies so I can start making baskets.
Meeting this need will help me because I need to make enough money to support my family. I need these supplies to start my business and put my new basket-making skills to good use.

Susan is an ambitious hard working woman. She is a loving wife, mother, and fistula survivor. When she was getting her surgery at Gynocare Women’s and Fistula Hospital, she learned about the basket-making workshop and partook in it. She loved making these baskets and wants to make them and earn money to support her family. I have complete faith in Susan that she will start a great business once she gets the basket-making materials.
