Overview
I am a 27 year old mother who loves to make dresses. In 2013, I endured a three-day labor and consequently, I developed a fistula. Even though a C-Section had to be performed to deliver my baby, my body was already affected by the fistula and it caused me to leak often. I have undergone 20 surgeries, many of which were unsuccessful. But today, I am a fistula survivor.
My goals are to start a dressmaking business. With the success of my business, I want to support my family. I also love to make dresses and look forward to making money by doing something that I'm passionate about.
I need help buying all of the necessary fabrics for my business. With these fabrics, I can make dresses and other articles of clothing to sell.
Meeting this need will help me because I can use my dressmaking skills to create clothes for my business. By selling the things I make out of these fabrics, I'll finally be able to provide for my family. The supplies to get started are the only barrier between me and my goals.

Karen is a delightful young woman. She truly has fun doing her dressmaking work and selling what she makes. I have full faith that she will be able to successfully get her small business off the ground with just a little support, and we will be providing follow up with her along the way.
