Overview
I am a 27 year old mother, dressmaker, and fistula survivor. I developed a fistula in 2013 during a three-day labor. A C-section was done but I had already developed a fistula that caused me to leak. I have had 20 surgeries but they were all unsuccessful.
My goals are to earn income for my family with my dressmaking business. I like the process of making the dresses and I like running a business, it is fun.
I need $300 for fabrics for my business. I sell the clothing I make and earn money to care for my family and myself.
Meeting this need will help me because I am eager to have a business and provide for my family. The supplies to get started are my only barrier.

Karen is a delightful young woman. She truly has fun doing her dressmaking work and selling what she makes. I have full faith that she will be able to successfully get her small business off the ground with just a little support, and we will be providing follow up with her along the way.
