Overview
I need money to pay for my daughter's college applications. This includes payment to submit applications to several schools, to be accepted into a four year university.
Meeting this need will help my daughter get the opportunity to apply to different schools and not limit herself to applying to just one. My goal is to give all of my children the same opportunity to go into higher education and follow all of their dreams.
My current situation is that with the money that my husband and I make, barely makes it through to pay for our bills and get food at the table. Time passed really quickly before realizing that my children were going to need our financial support to get ahead.
I haven't been through the process of applying for higher education before, and did not realize how much money our children will need us to support them with.
I live in Concord, CA, and I'm originally from Jalisco, Mexico. Something interesting about me is I am a mother of four with a set job. I'm happiest when I am with my family and I'm most proud of my children.
I have three daughters and one son. My oldest daughter is about to graduate high school, being the first in our family to graduate and the first to attend a university. My other daughters are in 9th and kindergarten. My son is in 7th grade.

We met when we had our first orientation in September for our tutoring program, Go Get It! It's your future! I see their daughters on a weekly basis and I've seen how united the whole family is. Martha and her husband are always there to make sure their children have what they need to succeed.
I think meeting this need is important because it will give her daughter the opportunity to become the first in her family to attend a university. It will also be a great example for her younger siblings to follow in her footsteps, making a big impact on the family as a whole. The daughter wishes to purse a career in teaching.
