Randall from Berkeley, CA

I need to replace stolen tools to work as an electrician once again

I currently work as a lower-paid laborer. With the proper set of tools, I can earn more and take care of my family.

Overview

My tools were stolen out of my truck, and this has caused me to take lesser pay in a labor position. I have a very meager income, which limits me to potentially provide for my family.

I need General Electrician Tools. This includes Greenlee 89266 NA Hammers Straight Claw Hammer 0156-12; IIT Channellock Channel lock GS-10 GS-10 Gift Set;Klein Tools Fish Tape: Fish Tapes: Klein Tools Depthfinder 65FT; Ideal 45-265 Coax Stripmaster RG-59; Extech DV20 Non Contact AC Voltage Detector;Klein-931-9RE Rare Earth Magnet Torpedo; Stanley 33-725 25FT Fatmax Tape Rule; Maglite 3D Cell LED Handy Torch; Stanley 66-156 100 Plus 5 Piece Phillips Set; Stanley Utility Knives 10-788 Retractable; Stanley 31 Pc. Ratcheting T Handle Hex Key; Channellock Crimpers and Strippers81/4"; Craftsman 17Pc Screwdriver Set. Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to use the tools to earn a more substantial income in which I will be able to maintain financial stability in the field of work I desire. My goal is to work as an electrician again, in the field of construction, to better sustain my family income and to perform my job responsibilities that I am expected to do.

My current situation is I am working in the construction field as a laborer doing home improvement including everything from the foundation to roofing. My field of interest is in electrical. By receiving the donation for the tools I will in the future be able to sustain housing for myself and my family independently.

I'm from Los Angeles, California, and now live in Oakland. Something interesting about me is that writing is my passion, and reading and learning history and theology. I'm happiest when when I am around my children and grandchildren. I'm most proud of sustaining my marriage and maintaining my family through the most difficult times in my life. I have seven children which most are adults now. I have two grandchildren who I am joyful and proud of. I have worked as an electrician for approximately 11 years, and I love my work, especially when I receive compliments about the work performance and my perseverance to see it through. I take my work personal and serious. I also come from a voice and data background and do wiring for surveillance cameras. My peers call me the wire man.

We met when Randall, he was very humble and appreciative for the services that he thus far had received. I think meeting this need is important because Randall will be able to get the tools that he will need to sustain employment as a electrician which he will then be able to regain financial stability.

Randall and his family are literally homeless and are living doubled up with relatives, which makes his living situation extremely stressful not knowing if he and his family would ultimately be asked to leave.
