Tony says, "My confidence has returned!" May 22, 2014
My confidence has returned and I have a new appreciation for helping others now that I have received my new dentures. I am so appreciative of this opportunity and the donors that have contributed to this endeavor. My confidence has returned, and I am ready to pursue my career as a paralegal. I have always remembered Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s statement in which he said "always try to help somebody." The donors on Benevolent have shown me again how meaningful this statement is. Thank you again.
Overview
I am a senior citizen and I am very proud that I am currently a student at Wright Junior College and will become a licensed paralegal. I have 3 more classes to go. I have a bachelor's in psychology from National Louis University. I am looking for employment. I am in a senior housing program that pays for my rent until August.
My goals are to become a paralegal after I complete my program. I am also trying to get a job before August, because I will need to start paying rent on my own at that time.
I need transportation from Chicago to Jacksonville, IL, to go to a dentist appointment to get dentures. I found this affordable option for seniors, and Inspiration Corporation has paid for the dentures. I had a periodontal disease, and had all my teeth removed. Right now I can only eat soft foods.
Meeting this need will help me because dentures will help me get a job by looking professional. Also, dentures will improve my health by allowing me to eat a more balanced diet. This is so vital for me.
