Thank you from Rose! Dec 24, 2014
Rose just contacted us to say "Thank you so much for funding me" to all of her donors.
Overview
I am a 49 year old single parent of four children working part-time as a parent liaison/administrative assistant. It looks like some of my part-time hours will be cut due to restructuring of the program.
My goals are to make extra money on the side cutting hair so that I can provide for my family. I have a cosmetology license, but I can't depend on it for a stable income.
I need to purchase barber shears, master clippers, outliners, and a cape. These items will enable me to cut hair again.
Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to make extra income to ensure that my family is provided for. I know that over a short period of time I will be able to acquire a steady clientele, and this will help me financially.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Rose fund this need.

I have known Rose for ten years. I hired her as a childcare worker for one of our programs, and she did an excellent job. Rose went on to work in the Head Start program, and she also went to college to work on an early childhood certificate. Later, she transferred to an after-school program but has been unable to secure full-time hours. Rose is highly respected as both a worker and as a wonderful human being.
