Overview
I am a 54 year old security guard who is looking to obtain a new position soon. Currently I am in-between security job positions and need 48 dollars to renew my license. My dilemma is that my license will expire at the end of this month (05/31/15).
My goals are to find employment within my field of work and move out of my shared living arrangement into a place of my own.
I need money to renew my license. Without this license I am ineligible to work as a security guard. This will be devastating to me because it will financially affect my ability to maintain adequate housing.
Meeting this need will help me because having my license renewed means that I can find work and become self sufficient. This help will provide me with the ability to continue to help myself.
Need funded!

I have known Krzysztof for three years through the Lincoln Park Shelter. He is a community client that utilizes our facility for help with various needs. Krzysztof is a hard working security guard of 14 years and is currently in need of 48 dollars to renew his security license. Over the years Krzysztof has experienced many episodes of homelessness and because of those events he is no longer eligible for emergency fund assistance through the City of Chicago which is the reason why he is currently exploring Benevolent as a way of funding his needs at this time.
