Overview
I am a 52 year old former CNA. I just recently moved into my first apartment in over 20 years.
My goals are to get back into the workforce. And become part of society again.
I need a monthly bus card to be able to travel around the city without having to panhandle anymore. I also would like to have a small table and chairs for my new place to have somewhere to sit and visit when people come over.
Meeting this need will help me because I will be mobile and able to job search. I also will no longer have to feel embarrassed about asking for money on the streets. Having a table and chairs will allow my new place to feel like home and I will not have to sit on the bed to eat meals.
Need funded!

I have been working with Ellen since January. She came to me for assistance with housing and after several months we have finally achieved her housing goal. Ellen is motivated and excited about returning to the work force and working on building meaningful relationships in the community. A bus card will greatly increase her ability to be able to move around the city to achieve her goals.
