Melissa shares her gratitude! Dec 10, 2015
Thank you to everyone who stepped in to help Melissa get her work gear. Since her need for manufacturing gear was funded, Melissa has gone and continues to go on several interviews. She is very excited to get back to work and begin her career in manufacturing! Be sure to click through to Melissa's post to see a picture with her new gear.
Melissa says, "I am very excited to have received the necessary work gear to help me to begin my career in manufacturing. I am currently interviewing with several companies and I am hoping to hear back from one of them soon. Thank you to the people of Benevolent for allowing me to better prepare myself to enter the manufacturing industry. I am grateful."
Overview
I am a working mother of two children. I have a 3 year old daughter and I am expecting my second child in September. I am training to be a CNC Operator while working part-time as a retail sales associate. I am training to be a CNC Operator so can get a better job to take care of my kids.
My goals are to get a job in the CNC field and make enough money to move my family into place of our own. Eventually, I want to go back to school to get my Bachelors Degree in Engineering. I want to do these things, so I can provide a better future for my daughters.
I am in need of metrology kit, steel toed boots, PACE/CTA bus pass, and work clothes.
Having these things will enable me to be prepared to start work immediately and eventually helping me make enough money to provide a more stable place for my daughters.
Need funded!
Thank you for helping Melissa fund this need.
