Overview

I am a single father of two, currently seeking employment. I have no source of income right now. I'm in need of funds for transportation so I can complete a job training program and secure stable employment and income to support my family.

My goals is to be working before the end of this year. My plan is to get my kids successfully through school and be a good role model in their life.

I need reliable public transportation fare to get back and forth to a new job training program I just enrolled in. I also need this to make sure my two children get to school every day. I also need reduced fare funds for my 10 year old daughter to get to school.

Meeting this need will help me because with reliable transportation, I'll be able to successfully complete a job training program, secure employment, and keep my kids in school.

I was first introduced to Ray through his sister, who has been hosting him and his two young children after they found themselves without a stable home. Ray and I have met for several weeks and he has been very proactive about looking for housing, employment, and other resources to provide a better life for his son and daughter. Providing reliable transportation to Ray and his daughter will mean they can access a steady income and continued education.
