Check out some of Maureen's masterful tailoring! Mar 10, 2016
Maureen sent us these wonderful pictures showing off some of hear B-E-A-UTIFUL tailoring work. Once she's able to enroll with an apprentice, she'll be able to keep improving and earn an income with her trade to support her newborn baby girl.
Overview
I am Maureen, a 21-year-old obstetric fistula survivor. I am married and have a 4-month-old baby girl. I completed a basic tailoring course in 2015.
My goals are to have my own business. I hope be independent and to be able to give my daughter an education and hope for her future.
I need to purchase my sewing machine and to enroll in an attachment with an experienced tailor to further my skills and support for my living expenses while I do my training.
Meeting this need will help me become independent and better able to provide for myself and my daughter.
