Overview
I am a 33-year-old Kenyan woman, and the sole provider for my 3 children and 2 nephews. I am a farmer. I have maize, cashew nuts and chickens. I am a fistula survivor and recently went though a 6-month vocational training program.
My goals are to add a cow to my farm to enable me to better assist my family.
I need to purchase a cow as well as feed. Having milk with greatly assist in providing good nutrition for my children and the income from the milk I can sell will assist me in caring for my family!
Meeting this need will help me very much, because being the only provider for my large family, I need to feed them and also earn money to help them move ahead in school and life. I desire to be able to pay school fees so they can continue their education.
