Seeking a better job; need dentures to interview

I am seeking dentures so I can get a better job than the one I have now. Then I will be able to move out of transitional housing and into my own home!

Overview

I need $600 to get dentures. This includes the dentures, plus all dental work associated with the procedure.

I am seeking to get dentures so I can get a better job. I lost my dentures about a year ago and since I am now homeless, I do not have the funds to accomplish this on my own. I feel that if I am able to get some dentures I will be able to get a better job than the $8 per hour one I have now. With a better job, I will be able to move out of the transitional housing I am currently in, and into my own home!

Meeting this need will not only provide me with better teeth, but will also give me self-confidence and the knowledge that potential employers will take me seriously.

Meeting this need will help me achieve future goals because it will provide me the self-confidence I need to get a new job and better my life.

Right now, my biggest challenge is finding a new, better-paying job and a permanent place to call home.

Thank you in advance for any and all support!

I think of myself mostly as a honest, hard-working person who has experienced a little bit of bad luck.

I'm most proud of my ability to keep my head up and push forward, even in tough times.

I have known Guy since he became a resident in our program at the West LA PATH. Mr. Fish became homeless when he was laid off from his job during the recession and was living in a vehicle outside out building. He lost his teeth one night while walking on the beach. He looked everywhere but could not find them.

I think meeting this need is important because Mr. Fish is a hard working, determined, and talented man who just needs a little help in putting his life back together. Mr. Fish has been diligently looking for employment and housing. He has found employment but feels like he could do better. However, his lack of teeth make it hard for him to be taken seriously by potential employers.

This will move the recipient's life forward by giving him the confidence he needs to rebuild his life. By helping him get his teeth he will be able to go to job interviews will look down on him for his lack of teeth. Having teeth will also help him with basic things like talking and eating.
