Overview

My name is Clarence, and I am a 37-year-old male starting from ground zero here at Jane Addams Resource Corporation (JARC). I have a second chance to reinvent myself, and their press brake program is the perfect catalyst. I’m incredibly motivated and excited about what my future will be with the help of JARC.

My goal is to complete the press brake training at JARC and focus on getting hired as a press brake machine operator with a company in need of my skills. I look forward to learning as much as I can and becoming an asset in the manufacturing field.

In order to reach my goal, I need assistance in acquiring the tools required to perform my work, like steel-toed boots, digital caliper and micrometer, a steel protractor set, and a back brace.

Meeting this need will help me because I’m trying to build a solid foundation for myself, find work, and turn my instability into stability. I want to thank everyone who views this site to help others, and I appreciate any support in making my dream of becoming self-sufficient in life and becoming a productive citizen.

I've known Clarence through JARC's Careers in Manufacturing Program for several months. Clarence is such a positive, thoughtful person, and his persistence and determination are inspiring. He has worked incredibly hard in the short time he's been at JARC, and all staff members are truly impressed with his desire to improve his life.
