Overview
I am a a single mom who is trying to make a better life for me and my daughter.
My goals are to build a home in my new apartment.
I need kitchen furniture for my daughter and myself to sit and eat while I ask her how her day went.
Meeting this need will help me because I hope to become closer by being a family that eats together like when I was growing up. I hope she can have a space to sit and do her homework.

I have known Rita through the Chicago Lights Elam Davies Social Service Center case management program. Rita takes an active role in developing and pursuing her goals in life. She is currently in the process of making her new apartment more homey for her and her daughter. Furniture would make this process a lot smoother for Rita and her daughter.
