Overview
I am a 45- year old veteran. I am currently unemployed and looking for work.
My goals are to have sustainable, full-time employment and be an asset to society. I already have permanent housing and would like to get back to work.
I need an IL State Driver's License in order to obtain a railroad position to which I have applied. They have expressed great interest in having me work there but all I need is a driver's license to get started.
Meeting this need will help me because having a driver's license and getting this railroad position is the next step to getting sustainable employment.

I have known Patrick as a guest of our social service center for several years. He has been dedicated to working towards his goals of housing and employment throughout this time. He obtained his new apartment after experiencing a period of homelessness and has been housed stably for 10 months.
