Overview
I am a Marine Corps disabled veteran, with two honorable discharges. I have two artificial hips, and I am currently unemployed. I am also, currently at Center for Changing Lives training program studying to get my CompTIA A+ certification, which is an entry level certification that will allow me to enter the IT field.
My goals are to be fully financial independent, so I can be a productive member of society. I plan to do this by obtaining my A+ certification, which will make me marketable in the IT field. And I will be able to get a good-paying job.
I need a laptop computer to ensure that I can get all of my homework done at home. I travel 5-6 hours to get to and from Center for Changing Lives everyday, so when I get home it can be hard for me to get to the library because of my disability. Being able to do my course work at home would help alleviate unnecessary stress on my hips.
Meeting this need will help me because I will be able to spend more time studying and less time traveling to and from the library. It will also relieve unnecessary stress on my mind and hips that comes from traveling.

I have been working with Reginald as both his Employment Coach and Instructor in his bridge class. From the day I started working with Reginald he has remained dedicated to the class, pushing himself to learn new things and step out of his comfort zone.
Obtaining a laptop will alleviate the stress that Reginald feels from the traveling long distances, and help him be more successful in class.
