Overview
I am a 44 year old man struggling with PTSD for over 20 years. I was in St. John's Mercy Hospital on 5/22/12 when an EF-5 tornado hit the hospital and made my emotional problems worse. I am getting the help I need in Idaho where there are no tornadoes and I am seeing the right doctors to cope with my issues before and after the tornado.
My goals are to get well and help others so they can get off the street sooner then me. Being on the street is very hard on people like me and I believe I can help them to stop the vicious cycle of homelessness.
I need with assistance with a security deposit to get off the street and get in to a place of my own. I can afford the monthly rent with my SSD check, just not the security deposit.
Meeting this need will help me because I am harassed by law enforcement for being homeless. I am working on my problems to be stable and find a safe place to come home to. Having a home again will be one of my biggest successes in several years.

I have know RandyJo for 3 years. He has been coming in to use the resource center computers for online classes and look for rental housing. RandyJo is determined to get his life back on track. He keeps a positive outlook to keep moving forward no matter what obstacles set him back. He is a hard worker, volunteers weekly and continues to help others in similar situations as his own. It would be great for him to receive this help and I can't wait to see him in his own home.
